COVE LEAGUE VISIT TO CLAGGAN PARK CALLED OFF BECAUSE OF FROZEN PITCH

19/01/2019

COVE Rangers can confirm today's Breedon Highland League clash away to Fort William has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.
Fort informed the club prior to the squad setting out that Claggan Park was left unplayable after temperatures plunged overnight in the north of Scotland.
The date for the rearranged fixture has yet to be confirmed.
Cove's next fixture is a week today, at home to Strathspey Thistle.

The club can also confirm that a race night has been organised to raise funds for the Cove Youth Development programme.
It will take place at the Ashvale Fish Restaurant, Great Western Road, Aberdeen, on Saturday February 23, 7pm.
Tickets are priced at £15 and you can also sponsor individual races and horses.
Cove youth development chief Gary Hake said: "It would be great if we could get a full house for the race night.
"All the money raised will be put to good use to ensure we are able to continue improving our youth development programme."
