TOUCH OF GLASS: Dundee United attacking midfielder Declan Glass, who has joined us on loan.

COVE Rangers are delighted to confirm the signing of Dundee United midfielder Declan Glass.
The 19-year-old, who has joined us on loan until the turn of the year, becomes the manager’s third signing of the season so far.
The other two - Daniel Higgins and Nathan Meres - made their competitive debuts in the 0-0 draw with Dundee in the Betfred League Cup last week.
“We are grateful to Dundee United for allowing Declan to join us and we are really looking forward to working with him,” said Paul.
“He’s a young player I’ve been aware of for some time and I was really impressed when I went to see Declan playing last week.
“He can perform in a variety of positions, which is good when you have a squad as tight as ours is at the moment, and already has good experience of playing at SPFL level.
“Declan is a talented attacking midfield player, who will give us added strength in that area of the pitch.
“I’m confident he will do very well for us.”
Edinburgh-born Declan is a Scotland schoolboy international and was signed by United in 2015 from well respected Juvenile side Hutchison Vale, who have a long and proud history for producing top young talents from in and around the nation’s capital. Highly rated at Tannadice, Declan made his first team debut in a Championship victory over Dumbarton in October 2017 and has made 10 top appearances for United so far.Declan also scored his first top team goal in a 4-0 away victory over Elgin City in the Betfred League Cup before spending the second half of last season out on loan with Airdrie.

Everyone at Cove Rangers would like to welcome Declan to the club and wish him well during his time with us.
