EXPERIENCED MIDFIELDER SCOTT SIGNS ON AS COVE RANGERS TARGET STRONG FINISH TO CAMPAIGN
COVE Rangers are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Martin 'Jimmy' Scott.
The 33-year-old, who has previously played for Hibs, Ross County, Livingston, Arbroath and Cowdenbeath, will be at Balmoral Stadium until at least the end of this season.
Cove manager John Sheran said: "We are delighted to secure a player as talented and experienced as Martin is at this crucial stage of the season."
Scott was capped at Under-21 level for Scotland and scored for County in their famous 2-0 victory over Celtic in the semis of the Scottish Cup in 2010.
He also played in the final, which The Staggies lost to Dundee United.
Scott, who went straight into the Cove squad for this afternoon's Highland League Cup semi clash with Wick Academy, also helped Arbroath win the League Two title in 2017.
Scott said: "I'm excited about joining Cove and eager to repay the faith they have shown in me."
