Jamie Masson joins from Formartine United

Cove Rangers Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Jamie Masson from Formartine United on a 3-year contract. Jamie joins the club at 24-years of age where he has a wealth of experience for someone so young having started his professional football career at Aberdeen FC in a 3-0 defeat to Dunfermline Athletic on 28th April 2012. Jamie scored his first senior goal for the Dons when he found the net against Kilmarnock on 5th May 2012. Having been loaned to both Brechin City and Elgin City during his time at the Dons, Jamie eventually went on to sign for Formartine United on 2nd October 2015.

The manager is extremely excited at this latest capture and knows all about Jamie’s capabilities when we’ve faced our old adversaries, Formartine United, over the years. Jamie will go some way to help filling the void left by Blair Yule’s departure to Arbroath. He is certainly a player who entertains and can change a game single handily.

Jamie will certainly add creativity and flair to the Cove Rangers squad and is a welcome addition for the season ahead as we once again look to compete for honours.
