TURRA TEST FOR COVE AS HIGHLAND LEAGUE CUP QUEST BEGINS

COVE Rangers have been drawn at home to Turriff United in the first round of the Highland League Cup.
The tie will be played at Balmoral Stadium on Saturday November 17.
Cove have won the trophy five times, with the last victory coming in season 2016-17, when skipper Eric Watson, pictured, led the club to victory over Formartine United in the final.

Preliminary Round - to be played on Saturday 3rd November 2018
Clachnacuddin v Brora Rangers
Nairn County v Buckie Thistle

First Round - to be played on Saturday 17th November 2018
Rothes v Nairn County or Buckie Thistle
Fraserburgh v Deveronvale
Strathspey Thistle v Forres Mechanics
Keith v Clachnacuddin or Brora Rangers
Cove Rangers v Turriff United
Fort William v Wick Academy
Formartine United v Inverurie Loco Works

All ties are played to a finish at the first time of asking


The draw for the Second Round, scheduled for Saturday 8th December 2018, will take place after the close of play on Saturday 17th November.

The Semi-Finals are scheduled for Saturday 16th March 2019 and the Final is due to take place on Saturday 6th April 2019.
